Kinesis: Matter in Motion.

Actualizado: 7 oct
Our first collaboration bringing talent together.
KINESIS began with three distinct creative identities: Tania Orellana, Sensorium and Efímero Lab.
Three brands with different languages, different disciplines and different ways of creating.
Rather than asking any of them to become something else, we looked for the point where their worlds could meet.
What emerged was a cohesion of fashion, sensory exploration and hospitality, each remaining unmistakably its own, yet becoming part of something that could not have existed independently.

Finding a Common Language
At the center of the experience was Tania Orellana, founder of Casa Sillage and designer behind her eponymous fashion label.
For the presentation of her new collection, Tania wanted to move away from the traditional idea of a fashion presentation.
No runway. Not even a passive audience.
Instead, she presented an immersive experience that challenged guests’ expectations of how a collection could be discovered.
The starting point was KINESIS, from the Greek kínēsis, meaning movement. A collection that explores continuity.
The idea that one movement inevitably gives way to another.
Water touches a surface and changes direction.
Wind moves through fabric and creates form.
A pendulum swings from side to side.
Every inhale is followed by an exhale.
Gravity pulls.
Nothing truly remains still.
And just as every garment in the collection interpreted movement differently, we wanted the experience surrounding it to do the same.

This is where three different creative languages began to meet.
Efímero Lab, a sensory bar located in Guadalajara’s Colonia Americana, carries a universe shaped by tarot, mystery and discovery. Rather than treating the space simply as a venue, we borrowed from that essence to shape the way guests would encounter KINESIS.
The experience began before they even entered.
Upon arrival, each guest received a set of cards. No complete explanation, only a series of phrases, clues to what they were about to discover.
They entered to find six individual scenes arranged throughout the space.
Six looks.
Six models standing on rotating platforms.
Beside each one, an elegantly draped table illuminated by candlelight, holding a molecular cocktail created specifically for that look.
And beside every table, a host carrying a silver tray of cards.
Everything was there from the beginning.
The answer simply had to be discovered.

Guests moved freely from one scene to another, observing the garments from every angle as the platforms slowly turned. The cards they carried contained phrases describing the different forms of movement that had inspired the collection.
Their task was to decipher which phrase belonged to which look.
Like water touching a surface.
Like a pendulum swinging from side to side.
Like wind moving through a curtain.
Like sand forming dunes.
Like breathing.
Like gravity.
Once they believed they had found a match, the host beside the look handed them its corresponding card, revealing the story behind the garment and the movement that had shaped its silhouette.
Only then could they experience the final layer.
Sensorium had interpreted those same movements through molecular mixology. Each of the six cocktails translated the inspiration behind its corresponding look into flavor, aroma and texture.
The same idea moved from one creative language into another.
First, a clue.Then, a garment.Then, the reveal.And finally, a taste.

What began as observation became participation.
Guests weren't simply shown the collection. They had to move through it, look closer, make connections and trust their own interpretation before discovering the story behind each piece.
And somewhere within that process, the three identities became part of the same journey.
Tania Orellana gave movement a form.
Efímero turned it into discovery.
Sensorium gave it a taste.
Casa Sillage created the experience that connected them.
Three brands with different identities, disciplines and ways of creating had found a common language, without any of them having to lose their own.
And that was precisely the point.
Because bringing different essences together is the true essence of Casa Sillage.
